The head of marketing for ADOBE was so impressed that a Vice Principal (I was still in my job at that time) was leading the field in authoring and e-publishing with a system to help anyone write a book fast and build the necessary home business skills. (To date, there is NO one doing this even though some of my competitors who have been coached by me are trying to appear to do this.)
An Aside…Advanced Book Marketing Speed To Market Principle: The ability to build a business quickly and then teach others how to do it are mutually exclusive skill sets. That is, just because you have done it (and there are really only just a few who have), doesn’t mean you can teach it!
Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from one of the CEOs of BookSurge, which has since been purchased by Amazon.com, wanting to do business with my company. In fact, just recently I shared on a previous blog post how Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon.com, thanked me publicly at Book Expo before a live audience as he received a copy of our book on how to write a book fast.

Some of the largest companies in the market who have very limited thinking will not be able to see a win/win with you and your company so they play out of perceived fear. Perceived fear is what constitutes most types of fear today…perceived fear really comes from the ‘what if’ scenario and is psychologically based with virtually no chance of this happening.
Real fears on the other hand are reality based and have a high probability of occurring. For example, a real fear is that if my young child walks out in front of traffic she/he will probably be hit. The probability is very good that this will happen.
What does perceived fear look like in business? The ultimate form of perceived fear is threatening a law suit against someone else because that company is scared. The ultimate source of perceived fear is jealousy.
This type of win/lose thinking ultimately comes from limited thinking and a limited world view on the opportunities that exist for each of us.
My company has been under attack from a very big organization who want the rights to my domain name (http://AuthorAndGrowRich.com), they want me to change my book title with its focus on how to write a book fast etc.
In fact, here is another example of the power of what I teach around rapid home business skills deployment. I got noticed by this company right from the inception of launching my idea into the market place, and this happened even though many companies have domain names related to mine and have been in the market years before me! However, they continued to confront my company and instead of fighting this in court which is where it was going—as much as I would have loved to do this—I did NOT want to expend my energy in a negative fashion—so I made the executive decision to republish our book under a new title and have just moved our domain name to http://AuthorAndGetRich.com.
